Kilrea Kidz Wraparound Care Provision
At Kilrea Primary School, we are proud to offer our wraparound childcare service, Kilrea Kidz, which runs during term time from 8am to 5pm each school day.
Morning Care: Breakfast Club (8am – 8.30am)
Children can start their day with a healthy and filling breakfast in a friendly and relaxed environment. The Breakfast Club runs daily from 8am to 8.30am.
Cost: £2
Afternoon Care: 2-3 Club (2pm – 3pm)
Our 2-3 Club provides supervised care in a familiar setting, offering crafts, games, and other engaging activities. This service runs from 2pm to 3pm.
Cost: £3.50
Afternoon Care: Afterschool Club (3pm – 5pm)
The Afterschool Club runs from 3pm to 5pm. Children enjoy a snack and have ample opportunity to complete their homework. In addition, they can participate in a variety of fun activities, either structured or independent.
Cost: £3.50 per hour
Supervision by Familiar School Staff
We are delighted to have Kilrea Primary School’s own staff as the supervisors for Kilrea Kidz. This gives parents peace of mind, knowing their children are cared for by trusted adults they already know, fostering a sense of security and respect.
Homework Policy
While children are encouraged to complete their homework during the Afterschool Club, it is the parents' responsibility to ensure homework is completed to the appropriate standard and signed off at home. Supervisors are not responsible for checking homework or revising for Friday tests.

Booking Kilrea Kidz
To book your child into Kilrea Kidz, please use the ParentPay app. Each club is listed individually, and you can top up your bookings as needed.
We encourage parents to book in advance, especially for those with dietary requirements, so that we can ensure the correct food supplies are available.
Important Note:

Half-day/Early Closures: Only the Breakfast Club will run on half days or early closures. There will be no afterschool provision on these days.
