Today we celebrated World Book Day. Our boys and girls wore their pyjamas and brought along their favourite bedtime stories.
We started off the day with a special assembly. Miss Steele shared some of her favourite stories with the boys and girls. She showed us many types of books, books throughout the ages, books of different sizes, books signed by the authors and books that she loves!
There are lots of reasons to read books, it great to enjoy reading books and having books read to us!
Our KS1 and KS2 pupils really love the Accelerated Reading Programme. We are delighted to announce that one of our P6 pupils has become a word millionaire! Congratulations- we can’t wait to see who else will reach this milestone!
