On Thursday we welcomed 11 boys and girls to school to come and have a look around and meet their new classmates. They had lots of fun playing in the playground before coming inside to listen to the Superworm story. In the classroom they made lots of creatures and worms and painted and coloured the characters from the story. After a little snack we had time to play in the playroom and visit our ‘McDonalds’. We then went to the hall where our new P1s met their buddies from P5 who will be there to help to look after them in September. After they had a little chat, everyone had time for a dance together and then it was time to go home.
We look forward to seeing all the boys and girls in September and hope that they have a lovely summer.
