Primary 1&2 boys and girls had lots of fun exploring the story ‘The kiss that missed’ with the boys and girls from year 2 in St Columbas.
On the first day we listened to the story and acted it out. We then made our own dragon masks and headed out to catch some kisses in our own magical fairy kingdom. We then tried to build our own castles for the king and the knight.
On the second day we designed a new shield for the knight and tried some cosmic yoga about a dragon. We then had some fairy tale fun where we made castles from sugar cubes, mined for diamonds with the dwarfs, made play dough crowns and became prince and princesses in the fairy tale castle.
We all had lots of fun and would like to thank Miss Rafferty and the boys and girls in year 2 for two fun days together.
