Like the story, P7 children have been amazed at the variety, size and quality of the vegetables harvested in Eco Club, having planted the seeds in P6 Eco Club. We have dug out a great crop of potatoes, carrots, turnips, beetroot, cabbages, onions and leeks. Our tomato plants, in our poly tunnel, have also yielded a bountiful crop. Many thanks to Tommy and Hannah Collins who donated the tomato plants and tended to them over the summer months. Our new Eco Committee are excited to sell these vegetables to you on Friday morning. All proceeds go towards our Eco work in school especially in buying seeds for next spring.
