The School Council were delighted with the donations everyone brought into school. Miss Young and Mrs McCombe went with a shopping list for fill our shoe boxes.
Every class was able to fill two boxes, one for a girl and one for a boy. Our school council members were able to guide each class about what items are required in each box.
Mrs Beth McIlrath then came to school and our School Council members presented the shoe boxes. She informed us that these boxes will be sent to boys and girls in Ukraine.
As part of our Take 5 Approach to Mental Health, we value the importance of giving and helping others. We want to sincerely thank everyone for their contribution and know that it will make some children very happy this Christmas.
