A couple of weeks ago our salmon eggs hatched out and since then they've been living off their yolk sacs. They have grown quite a lot in a very short time so today Stephen came and took them off to the hatchery. There they will be fed until they are big enough to release into the river. In the summer term we plan to go to Bushmills to see how our 'children' are doing and to learn about the next stages of the lifecycle.
