We celebrated Safer Internet Day by having a special assembly where our digital leaders gave us some fairy tale scenarios and the boys and girls had to come up with ideas of what the characters should do. The main themes were not to give out any information and to tell a safe adult if something pops up on screen or if someone want to meet up or if something online worries you.
Back in the classroom everyone completed some internet safety activities.
Primary 1&2 watched a story called Hatch Me which was all about what to do if an online game goes wrong. They also looked at pictures of a variety of devices and sorted these into order of age. They decided that the old devices were very funny looking!
