P1&2 boys and girls had lots of fun on Monday and Tuesday as they joined with Year 1 from St Columbas to share their playtime activities around the theme of the story, 'Room on the Broom.'
We listened to the story together and then coloured a picture and made our own wands. Then we went outside to search for the characters from the story, build some broomsticks from twigs and make up our own spells over a cauldron. When we went to St Columbas we had lots of fun making potions, creating hand print monsters, taking halloween selfies and finding bugs and creepy crawlies in a spiders web.
Everyone had lots of fun together and we all look forward to our next shared education fun days with year 2 after Halloween.
