During ECO club, last month, P5 sowed pumpkin seeds which have germinated very successfully. Today they researched how to look after their seedlings and have gone home this afternoon with a small pumpkin plant and instructions how to grow it to a mature plant. We look forward to the autumn when the children will hopefully bring a large pumpkin back into school for harvest celebrations!
