We are thrilled to announce that Kilrea PS has been awarded a £250 book token for our participation in the 'Poetry Together' competition.
Before Christmas our P6 pupils welcomed Kilrea writing group and U3A poetry group to join us at school to share poetry based on happiness. This intergenerational event was a great boost to our children's confidence, performing and interacting with other.
To receive a book token is the 'icing on the cake.'
These vouchers have been used to add to our KS2 reading books.
