Primary 5 had a great day celebrating our 12th Eco Flag.
We started the day with a bird survey, creating bird feeders, building a bird nest and playing a great game, birds and worms.
After break we went pond dipping and to our delight we found newts, dragonfly larvae, pond snails and lots of water beetles. Special visitors enjoyed sharing their knowledge with the boys and girls.
At lunch time we enjoyed our picnic buffet in the dinner hall as it was too damp to eat outside.
We finished the day by planting wildflower seeds and creating butterfly feeders.
