P1/2 parents were invited to attend a meeting to inform them about Literacy in Foundation Stage.
Mrs Cooper spent time modelling Sounds Write, our phonics programme, explaining how guided reading works, how to develop fine motor skills and handwriting, she also provided ideas to encourage good talking and listening.
We were thrilled that so many parents turned up and we feel everyone benefitted from the session.
