All the boys and girls started World Number Day with a special assembly led by Miss Shiels and Mrs Anderson.
Mrs Anderson was late as she had a morning with no numbers! This meant her alarm didn’t go off, she burnt her toast, she didn’t know what time it was and her excuses continued - all because she had a numberless morning. This challenged the boys and girls to consider the importance of numbers in their everyday lives and why we value the importance of numeracy in Kilrea PS.
Many thanks to the teachers for starting our number day with a laugh and challenging us to think about the importance of numbers!
