Primary 1&2 were delighted when Kilrea Community Early Years came to play. We read the story of 'The Kiss That Missed' which was about a funny knight and his dragon. We then went to the playroom and P1 classroom where we had some fairytale fun. We found diamonds for the dwarfs, built some castles, made dragon masks and wands and dressed up. We went outside and had some fun playing on the climbing frame, in the sand tray and on the scooters and trikes.
After our break we went to the assembly hall where we had a diamond mine assault course. We had to climb, crawl, jump and slide with our gems and then roll them down the runway into the trolley for the dwarfs.
