P5 met up with their friends from St Columba's Primary School twice this term to learn more about Kilrea. On the first day they had a guided tour around the town with Pearl and Maud, from the local history group, and looked at some old photographs of the town. They then tried drawing some of the buildings.
This week they met again for a talk from local firefighters, Sinead and Simon, on fire safety. They then designed some posters to remind us about road safety. We are now looking forward to our last fun day together before the summer.
