Primary 6 and 7 invited their Grandparents to school to spread some Christmas cheer.
Our guests were welcomed with tea, coffee, mince pies and short bread. Then they were treated to a varied programme of singing, instrumental solos, poems created for Grandparents and a UV light dance. We completed the afternoon with a sing song with our Grandparents.
Words can't express how special it was to perform and spend time with our Grandparents. Mrs McCombe thanked the Grandparents for the profound influence they have on the boys and girls. Their encouragement, support, time and listening ears will have a long lasting impact on our pupils' lives.
