P1&2 had lots of fun exploring fairy tales with the year 2 children from St Columbus. They searched for fairy tale characters around the dairy mile and then played together in the assembly hall. We dressed up as our favourite characters and made up our own pantomimes using puppets. We searched for Jacks magic beans, built a carriage for Cinderella and a tall tower for Rapunzel. Poor King Percy lost his crown so we made him some new ones and we designed a new wand for the good fairy. We made a diamond run for the 7 dwarfs and modelled a dragon out of play dough. Everyone had lots of fun playing together and getting to know each other.
