Last week P2 boys and girls went on a conker hunt in Mrs Millar's garden. They searched below the big leaves of the horse chestnut tree and found lots of shiny conkers. They had lots of fun popping some of them out of their shells and looking at them through magnifying glasses. Mrs Millar showed us a little horse chestnut tree growing below the big tree. The P2’s thought we could plant some conkers with the boys and girls in P1 to see if we could grow our own chestnut trees.
