A few weeks ago the boys and girls were very busy planting sun flower seeds. We have been watering them and watching them grow taller and taller. The school council helped to give them out on sports day and we can’t wait to see how tall they will grow over the holidays. We are growing sunflowers as part of a fundraiser for the charity Young lives vs Cancer who are supporting one of our past pupils who is now receiving treatment. Hopefully our sunflowers will bring some sunshine and happiness to lots of boys and girls. We still have a few more sunflowers in school if you know someone else who would like one.
