Take 5 Challenge: Growing Together!
At the start of the year, every class received a special ‘Take 5’ challenge—a bag containing everything they need to grow their very own avocado plant! Since then, each class has carefully nurtured their avocado, watching it sprout and develop. It’s been amazing to see the progress, and we can’t wait to see how they look in June!
This challenge ties in perfectly with Children’s Mental Health Week, where the theme is "Know Yourself, Grow Yourself." Just like our avocados, we all need the right conditions to grow and thrive. Through this experience, we’ve been reflecting on what helps us develop—whether it's kindness, resilience, or patience.
