P7 shared education morning was delivered by 2 scientists from the Almac pharmaceutical company. The children heard about the wide range of jobs available in STEM areas. They found out how medicines are made and how many of our every day medicines come from nature.They learned about famous scientists and their amazing discoveries.After the presentation the children enjoyed the experience of being scientists. They had to isolate molecules belonging to a new secret formula!
