We were delighted to present Young Lives Vs Cancer with a cheque for £2430. The boys and girls planted sunflower seeds and took a plant home. Each family was challenged to collect some sponsorship money. We are blown away by the response from our families and want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Valerie Cubbit, charity representative, informed us about how the Young Lives Vs Cancer helps families effected by cancer. Melvin Kelly, who inspired our fund raising, shared a little of his story with the boys and girls.
