Today we had a very special assembly to announce who our pupil leaders are this year.
Throughout the week we had our pupil elections for School Council and Eco Council. The boys and girls created manifestos and made speeches in class. Then a vote was carried out.
Our P7 pupils had the opportunity to apply to be Digital Leaders and Pupil Champions. They had to complete a job application form and state why they would be suited for the job. One applicant was so impressive that he was promoted to Digital Manager!
Digital Leaders assist with technology in the school, promote online safety, teach other pupils and make suggestions for the future. Pupil champions help in the playground, look at the Take 5 approach to wellbeing and suggest ways to promote this in school.
Congratulations to everyone - we are very excited to hear what our boys and girls would like us to develop in our school!
