Today our assembly was all about giving. We were delighted to welcome Roisin from Zomba Action Project and Moria from save the Children.
Both ladies informed us all about the important work that their charities do.
Save the Children is a global charity who help children throughout the world have safe homes, access to food and water and provide educational opportunities. ZAP is a small charity supported by the Causeway Coast and Glens. They have helped with education, supplies and support lots of projects in Zomba.
We were delighted to present both charities with £380 each. This money was raised from our harvest Hooley, Christmas Collection from the Carol Service and our Christmas Jumper Day. Our school Council and Pupil Champions presented the cheques.
Thanks to everyone who gave so generously and supported our events. As a Take 5 school we value to importance of giving and helping others.
